In uneven areas or unattended areas, the safety cross must be secured to the surface to prevent
movement or rocking. There is two recommended methods of fixing the safety cross as follows:
Fixing Pins:
Suited for installation to bituminous surfaces
Size ¼’’ x 2’’ hexagon washer head drive screw with cone point
These screws are easily fitted by hammering the screws into the surface at each corner of the Safety Cross.
If required the screws can be removed using a spanner.
Adhesive Sealing:
Suited to installation onto stone paving, slabs and concrete surfaces
Plastic sealing compound with high surface tack, which bonds to most metallic and non-metallic materials.
Portions of seal are placed on the underside of each corner of the Safety Cross and pressed down to secure adhesion.
