Kiosks are manufactured from GRP and can be supplied with either one or two compartments,
complete with separate lockable doors. The single module may be used to house, flow meter
equipment, data logging equipment, radio and telemetry equipment, associated battery packs,
data loggers, whilst the second compartment can be used for mains power cables, electricity
meter circuit breaker, switches and AC/DC converters.
Keeping in mind its application and location, kiosks are designed to be water resistant, free from corrosion and vandal resistant to prevent theft or tampering of equipment stored within the kiosk. Additionally most lock barrel mechanisms can be fitted as standard and the users own locking system may also be incorporated to provide a dual security feature.
The corner side doors provide maximum access and are designed to carry reasonable loads and therefore provision can be made to mount equipment on the door. The lid module provides ample space for concealed equipment and can also be manufactured incorporating a solar panel to power units within the kiosk. The base module provides a secure mounting for the box module, cable access for external sensors and subsurface cable storage.
